RoRo stands for roll-on/roll-off. The trailer drives onto the vessel on its own wheels and drives off the same way. The cargo is never lifted by crane and never moved from a container to a truck. What was loaded at the factory door in Egypt is exactly what is opened at the consignee's door in Europe.
Trieste sits at the northern tip of the Adriatic, a short road distance from northern Italy, Austria, southern Germany and Switzerland. The trailer reaches central Europe by road without sailing around the continent. From Trieste we serve six markets: Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, the United Kingdom and Spain.
